Who unfollowed you on Instagram?
See who unfollowed you, who doesn't follow you back and who you followed most recently. No password, no login: it reads the data download Instagram gives you, right here in your browser.
1. Load your Instagram data
How to get the file from Instagram (2 minutes)
- In Instagram open Settings → Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information.
- Choose Some of your information and tick only Followers and following.
- Pick Download to device, date range All time, format JSON.
- Instagram emails you when it's ready (usually within minutes). Download the ZIP and drop it above.
Your file never leaves your device: it's read by this page and nothing is uploaded to us. To spot unfollowers, we keep a list of usernames on this device only, and you can delete it any time.

How to see who unfollowed you on Instagram
Instagram doesn't notify you when someone unfollows. The reliable way to find out is to compare your followers list at two points in time. Instagram's own data download contains your complete followers and following lists, so this page reads it and, the next time you load a newer download, shows exactly who left and who's new.
What the results mean
- Unfollowed you: in your followers last time, not now. Shown from your second check onwards (or straight away if you load an older and a newer download together).
- Don't follow you back: accounts you follow that don't follow you.
- You don't follow back: your fans, the people who follow you but you don't follow.
- Recently followed: everyone you follow, newest first, with the date you followed them.
Why this tool doesn't ask for your password
Apps that log in as you to scan followers break Instagram's rules and are a common reason accounts get restricted or hacked. A data download comes from Instagram itself, so it's complete, accurate and safe to use.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see who someone else recently followed?
Not reliably. Instagram doesn't show when a follow happened, and sites that claim to track other people's follows scrape Instagram against its terms, which often breaks or stops working. This tool sticks to your own account, where Instagram gives you the full data.
Why does it need the ZIP instead of my username?
Instagram only gives complete follower lists to the account owner. The download is the official way to get them without sharing your password.
My ZIP is huge. Is that a problem?
When you request the download, tick only "Followers and following". A full download with photos and videos can be several gigabytes and takes much longer to prepare.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read by your browser. Only a list of usernames is saved on your own device so the next check can show who unfollowed you.
